Buttermilk Pie



Buttermilk Pie
(Makes 8 servings)

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon flour
1 Tablespoon grated lemon zest
4 Large eggs
1-cup buttermilk
1 stick butter, melted
1 10 inch unbaked pie shell



Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F.

In a large bowl combine sugar,

flour and lemon zest.

Whisk in eggs one at a time.

Stir in buttermilk and melted

butter.

Pour the mixture into the pie

shell and bake until the top is lightly

browned and a knife inserted in center

comes out clean, about 25 minutes.

Let pie cool to room temperature

and serve.
