Chess Pie
(Makes 1 pie)
1 ½ cups sugar
½ cup butter, melted
1 Tablespoon plus 1-teaspoon cornmeal
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
1-teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs, beaten
1 unbaked (8 inch) pastry shell
Directions:
Combine sugar, butter, cornmeal, white vinegar and vanilla.
Add beaten eggs
Mix thoroughly. Pour into pie shell.
